Job summary

Survey Solutions in Nottingham is seeking a Trainee Utility Surveyor to join our utility, CCTV and drainage surveying team. You will learn to conduct surveys on site using innovative technology and process data in the office.

You will follow a structured training programme with on-job training led by experienced surveyors, giving you the opportunity to earn whilst you learn, and develop toward professional accreditation in the geomatics field.

Qualifications

A keen interest in outdoor activities or previous experience working outside.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths & English to Grade C/4.
Citizen must be over 18 due to overtime and regulations.
Willingness to travel regularly with some overnight stays.

Responsibilities

Work on site with surveyors conducting underground utilities, CCTV and drainage surveys.
Undertake on-job training and earn whilst you learn.
Set up surveying instruments and record data for office processing.
Assist with project completion through data processing and equipment checks.
Maintain survey instruments and ensure they are fit for purpose.
Attend training and development days to progress through the program.
Follow health and safety policies and promote welfare onsite.
