Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Parcel Delivery Driver to support Parcel Force in Exeter on a temporary, ongoing basis. The role starts immediately and pays £15.06 per hour with shifts from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.

You will sort and load at the local delivery office, then deliver parcels by foot or van, using a handheld device for navigation and signature capture. Responsibilities include delivering letters and parcels, lifting mailbags up to 16kg and parcels up to 20kg, and working outdoors

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (max 6 points; clean licence preferred).
• Previous delivery or driving experience beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load your deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle – walking up to 8 miles per day.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
