Outdoor Leisure and Christmas Section Team Leader

Full Time - 40 hours per week (alternate weekends)

Salary - Dependant on experience

We're looking for a friendly, professional team leader who pays attention to detail and enjoys working in retail.

Your Role:

As the Outdoor Leisure & Christmas Section Team Leader, you'll take ownership of key product groups within the department. You'll be responsible for ordering, merchandising, stock flow, and creating standout displays that inspire customers.

You'll lead by example, ensuring the team delivers first-class service and retail standards across the board.

What We're Looking For:

• A confident, well-presented individual with genuine interest in Outdoor Leisure and Christmas retail, and a strong customer focus who is approachable and polite.
• Experience in retail operations including ordering, stock management, merchandising, and interpreting performance reports.
• Creative visual merchandiser with a hands-on approach, able to build inspiring displays and support the team daily.
• Comfortable using EPOS systems and able to identify slow-moving stock to take appropriate action.
• Strong communicator and organiser, capable of motivating the team and deputising for the Department Manager when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage product categories and supplier relationships.
• Monitor sales performance and ensure POS material is accurate and up to date.
• Maintain outstanding visual and retail standards throughout the department.
• Deliver excellent customer service - including offering advice and helping with carry-to-car when needed.
• Take on deputy duties during Department Manager's absence and communicate updates to the team.
• Maintain general housekeeping and ensure the shop floor is always tidy and well-stocked.
