Job summary

Kids Planet Haywards Heath is hiring an Outdoor Lead to inspire children through engaging outdoor play and education. You will support each child’s development, maintaining a safe, stimulating environment both indoors and outdoors.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification, strong EYFS understanding, and safeguarding awareness. Expect DBS checks, a collaborative team, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• A passion for the outdoors and early years education.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
• Leadership experience is desirable and DBS checks are required.

• By building warm, trusting relationships with families through open, supportive communication, involving them in their child's development and outdoor experiences.

Requirements Of An Outdoor Lead

• A Passion for the Outdoors!!
• Must be at least Level 3 qualified.
• Excellent understanding of EYFS.
• Extensive knowledge of safeguarding children.
• Leadership experience desirable.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role.
• Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our safeguarding duties.
• We expect all staff and volunteers to uphold this commitment, and safeguarding training is a fundamental part of every role.
• All colleagues are required to complete regular training to ensure they understand and fulfil their responsibilities.
• We are unable to offer any kind of visa sponsorship for this role.
