Southern Housing is seeking reliable Grounds Maintenance & Bulk Collection Operatives to keep estates clean, safe and well maintained for residents. Reporting to the Estate Services Manager, you will perform outdoor work at sites in Bognor Regis / Worthing, using tools, machinery and PPE provided.

This is a practical, hands-on role requiring safety awareness and teamwork. You will be responsible for maintaining communal green spaces and carrying out bulk refuse collection in line with schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out bulk clearance or refuse collection duties.
• Experience of working in small teams.
• Understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work.
• Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with residents and colleagues.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six points and at least two years driving experience.

Responsabilités

• Maintain communal green spaces across estates.
• Collect bulk refuse in line with schedules and standards.
• Work outdoors in all weathers and undertake physically demanding tasks.
• Represent Southern Housing and support positive resident experiences.
• Liaise with Estate Services and Housing teams to identify issues and respond accordingly.
