Job summary

APCOA PARKING UK is seeking an Environmental Enforcement Officer to patrol streets and uphold environmental orders in the Ealing area. You will issue tickets for breaches and support public protection initiatives.

The role emphasizes outdoor work, teamwork, and strong customer service, with 40 hours per week across five days and a competitive hourly rate. Training and promotion opportunities are available within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience of enforcement work (including security work) preferred.
• Knowledge of green services such as cleansing, and waste collection is desired.
• Ability to adapt and engage with different audiences and work as part of a team.
• Ability to handle complaints and resolve complex issues.
• Enthusiasm and a positive 'can do' attitude to work.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce laws within Ealing and Hounslow, pursue action where appropriate.
• Examine reports of littering, fly tipping and dog fouling and other offences.
• Issue Fixed Penalty Notices where appropriate.
• Prepare and submit relevant cases for trial and assist legal services in presenting cases to court.
• Record witness statements and conduct interviews under caution when required.
• Validate and verify personal details of offenders.
• Build good working relations with key investors and other agencies including the Police.
