Job summary

Robinwood Activity Centre is seeking an Activity Centre Assistant to join Barhaugh Hall, near Alston, Cumbria. The role is on Wednesdays from 7am to 7pm, during term time, with 10 hours per week. It is a permanent position paid year-round.

The successful candidate will support groups of children during activities, assist with harnesses and equipment, supervise mealtimes, and help maintain high standards around the centre. An enhanced DBS check is required, and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience with children is useful.
• Excellent customer care skills and a positive, professional approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision for groups of children between activity sessions.
• Assist with equipment fitting and activity session support.
• Mealtime supervision and morning/evening supervisory duties.
• Help with cleaning and maintaining high standards of presentation.
