Salary: £33,800 total package (26k base + OTE)

Role type: Full Time

Location: Remote first, you must be willing to travel monthly to the Peterborough office for team meetings

Role and Responsibilities

As part of our growing sales team you would work across various sales pipelines and lead sources. Calling customers to discuss where we can support them further – whether that be where customers have struggled with the online check out for our Home Cover products, discussing upgrade options for new services we have launched into the market or on our green energy mission where a customer's boiler may be close to end of life – we keep the customer warm this winter with options like a new boiler, heat pump or our recently added solar options.

Whilst the role is predominantly based around outbound calling customers who have indicated interest or are already a Hometree customer, there may be times that allow you to demonstrate your skills on the inbound customer line too!

Success is defined by speaking to as many customers as possible to support them in their journey and signing them up for their desired Hometree product – compliantly and through great customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Compliantly discuss our products with customers over the phone where they have not completed their online sale.
  • Reach out to customers who have shown interest in our packages but not yet purchased.
  • Support in transitioning existing customers who want or need to replace their boiler into a new boiler or greener option like our Heat Pump or Solar offerings, financed through our finance team.
  • Work across multiple lead sources to outbound customers to discuss completing the sale on the relevant product type.
  • Follow compliant sales techniques to ensure we meet our customers' needs and sell in line with our regulatory requirements.
  • Support the inbound sales line team where needed.

  • Outbound Sales Experience – experience in working in an outbound sales environment.

Who You’ll Be Working With

The Hometree Operations Department is at the forefront of serving and managing the daily needs of our customers. Made up of seven teams it includes Customer Care, Repairs, Escalations, Sales, Training & QA, Network and Reviews. Excellent communications skills, customer service and time management are all fundamental to ensuring the best experience for our customers and network.

Since we operate in a regulated industry, legal compliance is crucial to our daily operations. We are a close‑knit hybrid department that excels and grows by learning from each other.
