Out of Hours Manager – Business Travel

We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading, family-run travel management company with a long history of exceptional service and innovation. They’re now looking for an experienced Out of Hours Manager to lead and support a small, dedicated team that keeps business travel running smoothly around the clock.

This role can be fully remote once trained, with an initial training period based at their Hampshire head office.

Out of Hours Manager – what will I be doing?
  • Managing a team of out-of-hours consultants, ensuring seamless service for clients during evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Handling complex reissues, urgent itineraries, and VIP travel requirements with calm precision
  • Producing accurate MI reports and identifying trends to improve performance and client experience
  • Coaching and mentoring team members to build confidence, capability, and consistency
  • Working closely with the day-time operations team to ensure handovers and communication are seamless
Out of Hours Manager – what experience do I need?
  • Proven leadership experience in a business travel environment
  • Strong GDS knowledge (Galileo, Amadeus, or similar)
  • Confident decision-maker with a hands‑on approach to operations
