Job summary

Vallum Associates seeks an OT SME for a contract role in London. The role involves applying IEC 62443 concepts, managing cyber-physical solution deployments, and providing risk-based remediation validation. Agile delivery and strong stakeholder communication are required.

Applicants should have demonstrable OT knowledge, experience with vulnerability scanning, and capability to support OT risk management initiatives. 2 days onsite per week in London.

Qualifications

• OT subject matter knowledge including IEC 62443 concepts and practical application.
• Experience with Cyber-Physical Solution deployments, configuration, risk management and reporting.
• Experience developing or applying structured methodologies (e.g., assessment, scoring, or attribution approaches).
• Understanding of Purdue-aligned network segmentation and reference architecture concepts.
• Ability to review remediation evidence and produce clear written validation outcomes and recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Clear documentation discipline: writing, traceable decisions, artefacts.
• Comfortable in sprint-based/agile delivery and managing multiple priorities.
• Self-starter with a passion for change and transformation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

• Demonstrable OT subject matter knowledge, including IEC 62443 concepts and practical application.
• Experience with Cyber-Physical Solution deployments, configuration, risk management and reporting
• Experience developing or applying structured methodologies (e.g., assessment, scoring, or attribution approaches).
• Understanding of Purdue-aligned network segmentation and reference architecture concepts.

DESIREABLE SKILLS:

• Experience supporting third-party/vendor management within an OT environment.
• Experience contributing to an OT risk management framework and/or maturity uplift planning.
