Job summary

83zero Ltd is seeking an experienced OT Security Consultant to support clients across energy, manufacturing, oil & gas, and pharmaceuticals. You will deliver OT security assessments and help improve security postures in critical operational environments.

This hybrid role requires Active SC clearance and sole UK national status. You will conduct audits, risk assessments and provide practical security guidance, working 2–3 days on-site per week at your nearest base location.

Qualifications

• Experience in OT/ICS security environments, including SCADA or industrial control systems.
• Knowledge of OT network security and risk assessments.
• Familiarity with IEC 62443, NIST or similar frameworks.

Salary: Up to £100,000

Location: Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite per week at your nearest base location

Clearance: Active SC clearance required | Sole UK nationals only

I'm looking to speak with experienced OT Security Consultants for an opportunity within an established cybersecurity consultancy, supporting clients across sectors including energy, manufacturing, oil & gas and pharmaceuticals.

You'll be working on a variety of OT security projects, helping organisations identify risks, improve their security posture and protect critical operational environments.

What you'll be doing:

• Delivering OT security assessments, audits and gap analyses.
• Reviewing OT networks, systems and security controls to identify vulnerabilities.
• Supporting clients with OT security strategies, policies and improvement roadmaps.
• Providing practical security recommendations and technical guidance.
• Working directly with clients as a trusted security advisor.

What we're looking for:

• Experience in OT/ICS security environments, ideally including SCADA or industrial control systems.
• Strong understanding of OT network security, risk assessments and security controls.
• Experience conducting security assessments and advising on improvements.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443, NIST or similar frameworks would be beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working in client-facing environments.
