Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR Limited is seeking an OT/ICS Cyber Security professional to shape a CPS for a greenfield nuclear project in the UK. You will define robust cyber security requirements and assure security of systems and architectures while collaborating with engineers, regulators and safety colleagues.

The role emphasizes translating complex cyber risks for technical and non-technical stakeholders, supporting design decisions, and contributing to ongoing site design work across the UK with hybrid

Qualifications

• Understanding ICS/SCADA/OT systems and standards (IEC62443, IEC62645, NIST CSF).
• Secure-by-design principles and requirements identification.
• Strong technical writing and design documentation review.
• IT/OT interaction awareness in regulated environments.
• Experience liaising with regulatory inspectors.
• Clear cyber risk communication to specialists and non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Support Cyber Security Risk Assessments and CPS requirements.
• Apply Secure-by-Design principles and shape Evidence for GDA.
• Translate cyber risks into clear insights for stakeholders.
• Support engineering and safety teams to embed cyber security in design decisions.
• Contribute to UK and international site design work as the programme evolves.
