Responsibilities include OT processes, risk assessments, moving & handling, and collaboration with social care and health partners to deliver person-centred care.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered and eligible to practice in the UK.
• Full-time locum role with ongoing commitment.
• Locum role in the Enabling Independence Team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the occupational therapy process with service users and carers to promote independence and choice.
• Conduct assessments of need and evaluate risks in partnership with service users and carers.
• Undertake moving and handling risk assessments with service users and carers.
• Support service users and carers to identify and purchase appropriate aids and adaptations.
• Coordinate with Social Care staff, Health Care professionals, Children’s Services and wider partners.
• Lead multidisciplinary assessments and case conferences when required.
