Job summary

Thales is seeking a Senior OT Cyber Security Architect to lead the technical direction of its Exercise and Training capability for UK customers. You will shape architecture, assurance, and delivery across OT cyber resilience, working with Ebbw Vale teams to define product needs and architectures for training offerings.

The role requires operating at architecture, engineering and governance levels, influencing stakeholders and defining blueprints for high‑assurance environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Technical Authority, Design Authority, or senior engineering role
• Deep expertise in modern security engineering practices
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and translate complex concepts

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the Exercise and Training technical strategy for UK customers
• Lead architecture design of OT Range capabilities and access control
• Provide technical leadership to engineering teams across design, testing and assurance
• Engage with senior stakeholders to translate complex concepts into actionable decisions
• Shape internal standards, patterns and governance across programmes
• Represent Thales externally in standards bodies and partner ecosystems
