Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist to join the National Treatment Centre, Inverness. You will work within the Orthopaedic Unit providing pre- and post-operative care and supporting a 7-day service with weekend rota. Training and CPD are part of the role.

The post holder will be based permanently at the NTC-H and will be supported by AHP leads, with involvement in service development and data collection.

Qualifications

• Experience with Orthopaedic patients
• Postgraduate orthopaedic experience desirable
• Involvement in audit/data collection

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-op care for elective Orthopaedic patients.
• Work as part of the AHP team to support Band 4 Associate Practitioners and OT students.
• Contribute to audit/data collection with support from senior staff.
