A leading healthcare provider in Colchester is looking for an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse to join their Theatre department. The ideal candidate will have surgical scrub experience in orthopaedics, a warm character, and a commitment to high-quality care. Qualifications

  • Registered with NMC/HCPC.
  • Experience in surgical scrubs for orthopaedics.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

  • Support theatre team in orthopaedic surgeries.
  • Maintain high-quality clinical outcomes.
  • Assist in surgical procedures when required.

The role

What you’ll bring with you
  • NMC / HCPC registration
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
