Job summary

Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust is recruiting a Band 5 Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner (RN/ODP) to join the Kidderminster Day Surgery Theatres. You will deliver peri‑operative care, scrub for elective orthopaedic and ambulatory trauma procedures, and support the multidisciplinary team.

We value high standards of infection control, patient safety and education. The role includes mentoring students and contributing to quality improvement across Trust sites.

Qualifications

• Registered professional with NMC/HCPC registration.
• Orthopaedic scrub experience.
• Ability to work in a dynamic theatre environment.
• Experience supervising learners or students.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate peri-operative care.
• Work as a scrub team member for elective orthopaedic and ambulatory trauma procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile field, instruments and equipment.
