Your role supports patients through recovery after surgery, with a focus on mobility, function, and individual rehabilitation goals within a flexible bank working arrangement.
Qualifications
- BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Current HCPC Registration.
- CSP Membership.
- Minimum of 3 years' post-registration experience.
- Significant experience in Musculoskeletal and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation.
- Experience working with post-operative orthopaedic patients.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialist physiotherapy assessment and treatment to orthopaedic and musculoskeletal patients.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised rehabilitation programmes.
- Support patients throughout recovery following orthopaedic surgery.
- Monitor progress and adapt treatment plans to optimise outcomes.
- Provide education, advice, and self-management strategies to patients and carers.
- Fit and assess mobility aids and post-operative equipment where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records.
- Participate in discharge planning and ongoing rehabilitation pathways.
- Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and other professionals.
- Ensure safe practice per HCPC, CSP, and standards.

Optimised Care is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bank Orthopaedic Physiotherapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team based at The Bromsgrove Hospital.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation for patients undergoing orthopaedic procedures and those presenting with musculoskeletal conditions. Working across both inpatient and outpatient settings, you will play a key role in supporting patients to regain mobility, maximise function, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
