Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting an Occupational Therapist to join the Orthopaedic Unit at the National Treatment Centre-Highland. The post is based on a 7-day service rota, with pre- and post-operative care for elective orthopaedic patients, and training support for AHP staff.

The successful applicant will be supported by the AHP leads and contribute to ongoing service development, audits, and CPD. Informal enquiries to Kirsteen Kelly via email are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Registered OT with undergraduate degree and eligible to practice.
• Postgraduate orthopaedic experience desirable.
• Ability to contribute to audit and data collection within the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for elective orthopaedic patients.
• Work within the AHP team to support CPD and training for junior staff.
• Participate in weekend rota as part of the 7-day service.
