MediCruit is recruiting a Specialist Orthodontist for a brand-new, state-of-the-art practice in Alum Rock, Birmingham. Flexible full-time or part-time hours with negotiable days, open from November 2926. You will be supported by a capable team in a digital NHS and private service.

Qualifications

• GDC registration required.
• Inclusion on the GDC Specialist List in Orthodontics or recognised consultant status.
• Eligible to work in the UK with NHS performer-list where applicable.
• Appropriate professional indemnity in place.

• Strong commitment to clinical quality, teamwork and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Undertake orthodontic consultations, assessments and treatment planning.
• Provide NHS and private orthodontic treatment to a high clinical standard.
• Prescribe, supervise and review treatment delegated to orthodontic therapists.
• Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records.
• Support clinical governance, audits and quality-improvement activities.
• Collaborate with referring dentists and other healthcare professionals.
• Develop and grow the practice's private orthodontic service.
• Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and guidance where appropriate.

SPECIALIST ORTHODONTIST REQUIRED IN BIRMINGHAM

Seeking a Specialist Orthodontist to join our brand-new, state-of-the-art orthodontic practice in Alum Rock, Birmingham

The practice is due to open approximately November 2926

The practice will have 5 surgeries, built up patient list

The role is to work Full-time or part-time hours, (permeant) with flexibility around working days

Working pattern: Flexible and negotiable

Remuneration: Highly competitive and dependent on experience and the agreed working arrangement

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing a new, fully digital NHS and private orthodontic service.

You will be supported by an experienced management team, qualified dental nurses, orthodontic therapists.

Established in 2022, we are a growing multi-practice group providing general dental and orthodontic services. We are committed to clinical excellence, patient-centred care and creating a supportive working environment where team members can develop and progress.

About the role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality orthodontic assessment, treatment planning and treatment for NHS and private patients. You will work collaboratively with orthodontic therapists, dental nurses, referring clinicians and the wider management team to deliver an efficient, patient-centred orthodontic service. As this is a brand-new practice, you will have the opportunity to help shape the clinical service, support team development and establish a positive, high-performing culture from the outset.

Key responsibilities

• Undertaking orthodontic consultations, assessments and treatment planning
• Providing NHS and private orthodontic treatment to a high clinical standard
