Job summary

PortmanDentex in Fleet (Acorn Orthodontics) is seeking a qualified dental nurse to join our specialist orthodontic practice. You will support clinicians in NHS and private patient care within modern surgeries.

Shifts are typical on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with a competitive hourly rate and full training where needed. GDC registration and a positive, empathetic attitude are essential for success.

Qualifications

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration.
• A positive and empathetic approach, with strong communication skills.
• A team player who thrives on providing great service and building relationships with colleagues and patients.
• Orthodontic experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support clinicians in orthodontic procedures in a modern clinic.
• Work within nurse-led clinics and maintain scope of practice.
• Provide excellent patient care and ensure smooth patient flow.
