Job description
Overview

We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Origination Executive to join our Business Development & Marketing team, focused on Corporate Finance origination. This role involves identifying and engaging with senior executives at target companies through cold outreach (email, telephone, LinkedIn), with the aim of generating qualified leads and nurturing relationships that lead to new mandates in M&A advisory, due diligence, and capital markets transactions. The Origination Executive will work out of Crowe’s London office three times a week, with the other two days worked from home.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach

  • Conduct cold outreach, primarily over email to C-suite executives, owners, and decision-makers at target companies.
  • Research and build prospect lists aligned with Crowe’s strategic sectors and deal criteria.
  • Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings for senior Corporate Finance team members.

Market Intelligence & Targeting

  • Monitor market trends, deal activity, and corporate developments to identify potential opportunities.
  • Maintain and update CRM system (MS Dynamics 365) with outreach activity, lead status, and contact information.

Collaboration & Reporting

  • Work closely with Corporate Finance Directors and Marketing to align outreach campaigns with strategic goals.
  • Provide regular reporting on outreach performance, pipeline development, and conversion metrics.

Brand Representation

  • Represent Crowe UK professionally in all communications, ensuring messaging aligns with the firm’s values and service offerings.
  • Support the development of outreach materials
Desirable Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience working in or with corporate finance teams, investment banks, or advisory firms.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation—ideally within financial services, professional services, or consulting.
  • Strong communication skills, particularly over the phone and via email.
  • Confidence in engaging with senior executives and articulating value propositions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet outreach targets.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (MS Dynamics 365)
  • A genuine interest in corporate finance, M&A, and capital markets.
