Job summary

Booker Group plc in Tottenham Depot is seeking a reliable Order Picker to join our Operations team. You will accurately pick customer orders, prepare products for dispatch, and help ensure safe, efficient deliveries to our customers.

This full-time, fixed-term role runs Monday to Friday, typically 10:00–19:00, starting in the week of 9 November 2026 and ending 8 January 2027. You will operate picking systems, stack items, carry out stock replenishments, and maintain health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail is important for accurate order picking and packing.
• Experience handling electric pump trucks is preferred.
• Good spoken and written English is required to communicate with team and customers.

Responsibilities

• Pick and process orders from the electronic picking system.
• Ensure orders are accurate and stacked correctly for delivery.
• Carry out stock replenishments and shrink wrap products to pallets.
• Operate handling equipment and follow safety regulations.
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and efficient Order Picker to join our team at Venus Wine & Spirit Merchants based at our Tottenham Depot. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for accurately picking customer orders, preparing products for dispatch, and helping to ensure our deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and to the high standards expected by our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business within the wine and spirits industry and gain experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This is a full-time, fixed-term position working Monday to Friday, with shifts typically scheduled between 10:00am and 7:00pm. Flexibility may be required to meet operational demands. The role is expected to commence during the week beginning 9 November 2026 and will end on 8 January 2027. You will be responsible for Pick and process orders from our electronic picking system Ensure orders are accurate Stack items correctly for delivery Operate handling equipment and ensure safety regulations are followed Carry out stock replenishments Ensure warehouse goals are met Maintain a high level of health and safety standards Shrink wrap products to pallets Perform other general warehouse duties as needed
