Job summary

NHOMS | MassOMS is seeking a Dental Assistant to support oral surgeons and keep clinical operations running smoothly. The role emphasizes sterile technique, patient care, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will assist during surgeries, manage radiographs, and maintain detailed patient records while following CDC/OSHA/HIPAA guidelines. Training is provided for those with relevant healthcare backgrounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Radiology certification preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• NH MedTech credential for NH Assistants.
• MA Dental Assisting License for MA Assistant role.
• DAANCE certification preferred or achievable within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assist chairside during dental surgical procedures.
• Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.
• Ensure infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance.
• Capture radiographs and document patient records.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient charts for continuity of care.
