Job summary

Proactive Appointments is recruiting an Oracle Fusion Financials Consultant focused on Tax Data & Reporting. You will optimise tax data across VAT/GST, corporate tax and intercompany transactions within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, delivering governance, quality improvements and transparent reporting.

You will collaborate with Tax, Finance, IT and business units to shape data requirements, perform data lineage analysis and develop robust reports using BI tools.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of tax data across VAT/GST, corporate income tax, withholding tax, intercompany transactions, e-invoicing, statutory reporting and tax audit support.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP tax/finance data structures including subledger, GL, supplier, customer and entity data.
• Hands-on experience with at least two reporting/analytical tools (Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, Power BI, Power Query).
• Proven ability to map data end-to-end, analyze lineage and reconcile data across systems.
• Experience defining data ownership, governance and documentation standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Relevant qualification in tax, accounting, finance, data management or technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Track record of delivering data and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop understanding of tax-related data across VAT/GST, corporate income tax, withholding tax, intercompany transactions, e-invoicing, statutory reporting and audit support.
• Analyze tax and finance data across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP including subledger, GL, supplier, customer and legal entity structures.
• Understand how tax rules and accounting processes influence data availability and reporting outcomes.
• Investigate data quality issues, inconsistencies and gaps across source systems and reporting solutions.
• Perform source-to-target data mapping across Oracle Fusion and other finance/tax systems.
• Analyze data lineage, dependencies and transformations to ensure traceability from source to reporting outputs.
• Design, develop and maintain reporting solutions using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, Power BI and Power Query.
• Define and support ownership of tax data, outputs and related processes.
• Work with Tax, Finance, IT and stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve issues.
• Facilitate workshops to clarify needs and agree practical data solutions.
