Spectrum IT in Southampton is seeking an Oracle ERP Application Analyst to support Oracle Finance across the EMEA region, focusing on General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable within Oracle E-Business Suite. The role blends production support with configuration, testing and enhancements.

You will work with SQL/PLSQL, document business requirements and help with patches, upgrades and maintenance in a busy, international environment.

Qualifications

• Functional Oracle ERP Finance experience.
• Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite finance modules.
• Experience with GL, AP or AR is desirable.

If you know Oracle Finance well enough to go beyond end-user support into configuration, troubleshooting and improvement, this role gives you responsibility for an ERP environment supporting operations across EMEA.
A global technology business is looking for an Oracle ERP Application Analyst to join its production support team in Southampton, with a particular focus on Oracle Financials including General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

The role

You will join a production operations support team responsible for Oracle applications across EMEA, with a particular focus on finance.
Your work will cover General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, alongside the wider integration of finance into other parts of the ERP environment.
You will:

• Support Oracle E-Business Suite finance applications
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues across Oracle Finance
• Configure, test and implement changes
• Gather and document business requirements
• Work with SQL and PL/SQL to investigate and resolve issues
• Support patching, upgrades and application maintenance
• Test Oracle patches, configurations and customisations
• Support incident management and root cause analysis
• Work with finance users and technical teams across EMEA and the US
• Contribute to smaller projects and system improvements

The environment is busy and international. You will work with teams across different countries and operating models, giving you exposure to how Oracle supports finance and operational processes across a large organisation.

What we are looking for

The key requirement is functional Oracle ERP Finance experience.
You should have experience with at least some of:

• Oracle E-Business Suite
• General Ledger, Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable
• Oracle Finance configuration
• SQL and/or PL/SQL
• Application support and troubleshooting
• Testing configurations, patches or customisations

Experience across areas such as Fixed Assets, Cash Management, E-Business Tax or Oracle sub-ledgers would be useful but is not essential.
A relevant degree would be useful, but strong Oracle Finance experience is more important and applications will be considered from people who have developed their experience through other routes.
