Job summary

Randstad Technologies in London is seeking an experienced Oracle EBS Exadata DBA to manage and optimize Oracle EBS and its database infrastructure. The role spans application, database, OS, and cloud domains, with hands-on responsibility for performance, security, and DR readiness.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in Oracle Database and Apps DBA roles, strong Oracle EBS R12 expertise, and practical experience with cloud migration to OCI or Azure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years hands-on experience in Oracle Database and Oracle Apps DBA roles in enterprise production environments.
• Strong expertise in Oracle EBS R12 architecture, patching (AD/TXK), AutoConfig, and cloning procedures.
• Mastery of Oracle Database administration, RAC, RMAN, and performance tuning.
• Deep operational knowledge of Linux and AIX environments and advanced shell scripting.
• Proven end-to-end troubleshooting across application, database, network, and OS layers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Oracle EBS (R12) across non-production and production environments.
• Perform application cloning, environment refreshes, and technology stack patching (AD/TXK).
• Administer application-tier components: WebLogic, OHS, Forms, Reports, Concurrent Managers, and Workflow.
• Oversee context file management, AutoConfig maintenance, and system integration points.
• Configure, maintain, and tune high-availability Oracle Databases supporting EBS, including RAC.
• Execute database cloning, upgrades, patching, and cross-platform migrations.
• Implement DR strategies, RMAN backups, and Data Guard failovers.
• Administer database security, storage, user permissions, and compliance auditing.
• Write complex shell scripts to automate routine operational workflows.
• Troubleshoot system bottlenecks across CPU, memory, filesystem, and storage layers.
• Support cloud migration projects to OCI or Azure.
