A global technology firm in Manchester is seeking an Oracle Database Admin to manage large-scale enterprise servers. You will collaborate with the team, monitor resource usage, and ensure database efficiency. The successful candidate will have experience with Oracle, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL, among other skills. This hybrid position requires some in-office presence and security clearance and offers training and development opportunities.
To drive the growth agenda in Managed Service, IMS, we are currently looking for an Oracle Database Admin to join the Database support team. Within this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and support of a large-scale enterprise servers. Server Technicians are required to work to a shift pattern that spans 08:00 – 18:00.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.
If you are successfully offered this position, you will go through a series of pre-employment checks, including identity, nationality (single or dual) or immigration status, employment history going back 3 continuous years, and unspent criminal record check (known as Disclosure and Barring Service)

To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
To obtain SC clearance, the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for the last 5 years, along with other criteriaand requirements.
