A leading technology consulting firm in the City of London is seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud Integration Architect to lead complex cloud implementations and design solutions leveraging Oracle PaaS. Candidates should have expertise in API management and cloud-native architectures, as well as a strong commitment to diversity and inclusive work culture. The role supports hybrid work and focuses on a collaborative environment.
Oracle’s aggressive Cloud strategy and growth means that several new PaaS capabilities are now available, creating a breadth of new opportunities with our clients to take their current IT systems to the Digital & Cloud market. API Management, Cloud‑based integration, Microservices and modern application frameworks are at the heart of this digital transformation revolution, and Oracle is investing heavily in ensuring that our PaaS offerings cover these capabilities and more.
As one of the largest independent Oracle consulting practices in the UK, Capgemini is at the forefront of delivering these innovative solutions. We understand that, core to our clients’ requirements, is the ability for our consultants to articulate these leading‑edge IT solutions to resolve complex business and technical problems. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Oracle PaaS integration developer to work within a highly skilled team and positively drive and enable our deliveries.
You will take a leading role on complex Oracle Cloud implementations, working with SaaS, PaaS and IaaS components from across the Oracle portfolio, in addition to incorporating open source technologies and cloud‑native approaches. You will give direction and derive robust architecture designs to meet customer business requirements. The role may also encompass supporting pre‑sales activities and generating go‑to‑market strategies across our UK business.
You can bring your whole self to work. At Capgemini, building an inclusive future is part of everyday life and will be part of your working reality. We have built a welcoming environment for everyone.
We recognise that the modern Oracle PaaS landscape spans an array of skillsets. While the below outlines key skills at a high level, it is not necessary that you have experience in all listed skills. We are looking to expand our knowledgeable and versatile team, so we would love to speak to you if your background is either in traditional or cloud‑based Oracle implementation or in API/Microservices/User Interface architecture.
To be successfully appointed to this role, it is a requirement to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
SC clearance requires continuous residence within the United Kingdom for the last five years, along with other criteria and requirements. Throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as country of residence and nationality. Some posts are restricted to sole UK nationals for security reasons; therefore, you may be asked about your citizenship in the application process.
We realise a Total Reward package should be more than just compensation. At Capgemini we offer a range of core and flexible benefits and have a Peer Recognition Portal called Applaud.
You will be encouraged to have a positive work‑life balance. Our hybrid‑first way of working means we embed hybrid working in all that we do and make flexible working arrangements the day‑to‑day reality for our people. All UK employees are eligible to request flexible working arrangements.
