Overview

Walter Everett is a specialist recruitment company and we are currently supporting our client in hiring an Oracle Cloud EPM Analyst with strong experience in Planning specifically with Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) or Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS). Experience with modules-based planning such as Financials, Workforce, Capital Expense and Projects Planning is essential.

This role offers a great opportunity to join a dynamic environment and work closely with key stakeholders across both business and technical teams.

You will

• Provide functional and technical expertise to support Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting and Financial Reporting processes.
• Manage and maintain the client’s EPBCS applications including metadata updates, data uploads, mapping tables and security provisioning.
• Troubleshoot and develop Oracle EPM Reports and Smart View templates/files.
• Investigate and resolve financial statement disconnects from source systems.
• Manage EPM Automate processes and scripts.
• Maintain and update Business Rules calculation/aggregation logic and related files.
• Build effective working relationships with key stakeholders from both client and internal technical support teams.
• Report to the Service Delivery Manager and operate as part of the Applications Management practice.

Your experience

• Proven experience with Oracle Cloud EPM Planning EPBCS or PBCS, particularly across modules-based planning.
• Experience using Oracle EPM Cloud Data Exchange (Data Management) and / or FDMEE / FDM.
• Strong expertise in building reports using Oracle Smart View and Oracle Cloud EPM Reports.
• Solid understanding of financial planning and reporting processes.
• Experience in incident management, problem management and operational support.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (2010–2016 versions).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• A proactive self-starting attitude with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Working knowledge of additional Oracle Cloud EPM business processes such as:
• Financial Consolidation
• Account Reconciliation
• Narrative Reporting
• Enterprise Data Management
• Profitability & Cost Management
• FreeForm Applications
• Experience acting as a functional advisor and technical consultant for client-side applications.
• Familiarity with Hyperion Planning, particularly Workforce Planning and Capital Expense Planning modules.
• ITIL V4 Foundation certification.
