SCRIVENS LTD is seeking qualified Optometrists for a part-time role in Grimsby, offering 25-minute test slots, strong customer focus, and opportunity to contribute to branch growth within a friendly team.

We welcome both newly qualified and experienced clinicians, with CPD support, professional fees covered, and a pro–rating holiday entitlement. The position stresses patient-centred care and community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with 25-minute test slots
• Diagnose and manage eye health conditions using clinical judgement
• Advise on spectacle and contact lens options tailored to patient needs
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and branch teams
• Collaborate with the branch team to support business growth and service delivery
• Participate in local enhanced service schemes and pre-registration supervision where applicable
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products through CPD training

About the role

We are seeking qualified and GOC-registered Optometrists who share our commitment to putting the customer at the centre of everything we do. At Scrivens Opticians & Hearing Care, you will provide excellent clinical care while building strong relationships with both customers and branch teams. Whether you are newly qualified or experienced, you will play a vital role in driving your branch forward and ensuring exceptional service within your community. This is a part time role working Monday, Friday and alternate Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive eye examinations with thorough patient care during 25-minute test slots.




• Use your clinical judgement to diagnose and manage a range of eye health conditions




• Provide expert advice on spectacle and contact lens options tailored to individual needs




• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring a positive experience at every visit




• Collaborate closely with your branch team to contribute to business growth and excellent service delivery




• Participate in local enhanced service schemes and contribute to pre-registration supervision when applicable




• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of optical products and industry developments through ongoing CPD training
