The role involves visiting 12-16 care home residents daily, with longer appointments to foster better relationships and provide gold-standard care. You will work alongside an Optical Assistant who prepares patients and handles dispensaries, allowing you to focus on clinical duties. Equipment provided includes a digital fundus camera, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and digital records system, eliminating paperwork.
