Boots Opticians in Wales is seeking an Optometrist to join a busy store and deliver outstanding patient care using the latest testing technology. You will lead clinics, support triage, and mentor colleagues, with opportunities to develop pre-regs, regional clinical leadership, and professional training across our network.

There's flexibility to work across shifts, with a 30 hour per week pattern to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Qualified Optometrist with GOC registration.
• Experience of patient-facing eye care and testing technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinics and deliver outstanding patient care.
• Use latest testing technology to assess eye health and provide expert advice.
• Provide enhanced services from triage to advanced assessments.
• Offer clinical support to colleagues on the shop floor.
• Collaborate with external healthcare professionals.
• Keep clinical knowledge up to date and share it with others.
• Play a key role in store leadership and shift leadership.
• Be confident, compassionate and focused on patient safety.
