Job summary

Vision Express is looking for a qualified optometrist to join our Merryhill store. You will perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage eye health, and work with a supportive team in a busy retail environment.

The role requires pre-registration supervision, full-time hours with weekend work, and a competitive reward package including a base salary up to £55,000, a £4,000 car allowance, and a comprehensive benefits scheme.

The role:

Salary: Up to £55,000 (subject to your experience and location)

Car allowance: £4,000

Location: Merryhill

Working hours: Full time (weekend work required)

Our Merryhill store has 5 test rooms, which are fully equipped with OCT and phoropters. Set in The Merryhill Centre, this store has a well‑established team who support optometrists. Pre-registration supervision is a requirement for this role.
