Boots Opticians in Dartford is seeking a proactive Optometrist to lead clinics, assess eye health with the latest technology, and deliver high-quality patient care. You’ll support triage, mentor colleagues, and collaborate with external healthcare professionals, while staying current with clinical developments.

Qualifications

• GOC registered, or expecting within 6 months.
• NHS performer number, or working towards it.

What you’ll be doing

As an Optometrist at Boots, you’ll play a key role in delivering brilliant patient care – using the latest tech, working alongside experienced colleagues, and supporting your community with clinical excellence. Whether you're leading a clinic, responding to triage, or mentoring others, no two days are the same, and your growth never stops.

• Playing a key role in your store’s leadership team, bringing energy and insight to every shift

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

• We’re looking for Optometrists who are confident, compassionate, and always focused on doing the right thing for patients.
• GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
• NHS performer number (or working towards it)
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration

It would be great if you also have

• Experience supporting enhanced services
• A strong understanding of local clinical networks
