You will be joined by other Optometrists, with 5 test rooms long and short form all fitted with phoropters and OCT. The clinics are set and working hours will be between 8am – 6pm, however there is some flexibility around this.
Coatbridge is a town in North Lanarkshire which has a strong industrial history and lies 9 miles east of Glasgow, with several eateries as well as local and high street shops. Coatbridge has a variety of railway lines which cover six railway stations and is easily accessible from Edinburgh, Stirling and Glasgow by road. Regular bus services connect the town to the surrounding area, including East Kilbride and Hamilton.
We do need you to have a few skills to get started in this role. Firstly, you'll need to be registered as a member of the General Optical Council (keeping this up to date). You'll also need to be confident and passionate about providing the best customer service and work well as part of a team.
