Due to our extended service contracts with the NHS, we're committed to delivering a wide range of care for the treatment and monitoring of minor eye conditions. A typical day will involve screening patients, coaching and training the wider team, and helping to maintain standards in the department.
We are passionate about providing our Optometrists with comprehensive training to fulfill their roles and enhance their skills. We offer a fantastic CPD program, protected time for further accreditations funded by Asda, and full support from in-store, regional, and home office teams for clinical and service queries.
You will be a fully qualified optometrist registered with the GOCA, registered performer with your NHS area team or health board, MECs or WECs accredited (or willing to gain accreditation within 12 months of joining), and on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD. You should be passionate about developing new patient services and shaping the department's culture.
You will work in partnership with an Optical Manager, support coaching and training, and help develop accessible services to meet customer needs.
