Job summary

Specsavers Carlisle is seeking a qualified Optometrist to deliver high‑quality eyecare to customers. You’ll join a team of 10 Optometrists in a store with 7 test rooms, all supported by extensive training and development opportunities.

The role offers a competitive package including up to £65,000 per annum, a £10,000 joining bonus, 33 days of annual leave (plus your birthday off), a pension, and access to the latest clinical technology. Flexible options may suit a 4‑day week.

Qualifications

• Qualified and GOC registered Optometrist.
• Confident with a strong work ethic.

• Experience in a fast-paced store is a plus.

We’re looking for a hard-working, passionate Optometrist ready to provide our customers with the best eyecare in the business. At Specsavers Carlisle, you’ll join a team of people from all walks of life and all levels of experience. So, as long as you’re a qualified and GOC registered Optometrist, whoever you are, you can make a difference here.

Our store

Based in Carlisle, our store has 7 test rooms and 10 Optometrists (including pre-reg's) who work closely together.
