Job summary

Boots Opticians in the United Kingdom is seeking a skilled Optometrist to deliver clinical excellence across store clinics, using the latest testing technology and collaborating with experienced colleagues. You will lead clinics, triage, and mentor others, contributing to community eye care.

What you’ll be doing

As an Optometrist at Boots, you’ll play a key role in delivering brilliant patient care – using the latest tech, working alongside experienced colleagues, and supporting your community with clinical excellence. What you’ll need to have (our must‑haves)

• We’re looking for Optometrists who are confident, compassionate, and always focused on doing the right thing for patients.
• GOC registered (or expecting to be within 6 months)
• NHS performer number (or working towards it)
• Excellent communication and organisation skills
• A genuine interest in patient care and team collaboration

It would be great if you also have

• Experience supporting enhanced services
• A strong understanding of local clinical networks
