Role Overview

Our Optical Managers are essential to our success, ensuring the team has everything needed to deliver high-quality service and clinical care. We focus on a fixed price approach for glasses, with no up-selling or top-up costs, supporting customer affordability and satisfaction. You'll be supported by our Home Office teams and Area Managers, receiving regular updates and feedback.

Responsibilities
  1. Oversee and manage the entire optical operation.
  2. Manage a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants.
  3. Ensure compliance with processes and procedures.
  4. Review sales forecasts and department targets.
  5. Handle customer queries and provide excellent service.
  6. Manage clinic operations and shop floor processes.
  7. Coach and develop team members, fostering a high-performance environment.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC.
  2. On track to meet CPD points requirement.
  3. Confident coach and team leader.
  4. Excellent customer and patient care skills.
  5. Driven and ambitious to meet department targets.
  6. Proven leadership in a fast-paced optics environment.
