Job summary

Specsavers is seeking an Optical Assistant to welcome customers and assist with their optical journey from screening to dispensing. You’ll receive extensive training and development opportunities, with support from experienced Opticians and Technicians to help you grow within the business.

The role offers a full-time 40-hour week with weekend work, ongoing pension auto-enrollment, and employee perks, including Headspace, Eyecare discounts, and birthday leave.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics or Audiology business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and help customers as they walk through our doors.
• Support customers through the optical journey from screening to dispensing.
• Learn from and work with experienced Opticians and Technicians, with access to training.
