Specsavers is seeking an Optical Assistant Apprentice to join our store. You’ll spend 32 hours over 5 days, including weekends, delivering excellent customer service while gaining hands-on experience in retail and optics.

The role includes eye tests booking, frame measuring, style advice, and front-desk support, with clear opportunities for progression and training within a forward-thinking team.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent required.
• EU residency for 3+ years with right to work in the UK required.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes customers into store.
• Books in eye tests for customers.
• Pre-screens patients.
• Provides style advice to customers.
• Measures frames for customers.
• Handles phone calls and inquiries.
