Specsavers Doncaster is hiring an Optical Assistant Apprentice to join our store team. You will welcome customers, help them select eyewear, book eye tests, and participate in pre-screening activities in a supportive, training-focused environment.

The role offers a full-time schedule (38.75 hours weekly) with weekend work, automatic pension enrollment, and access to Specsavers Perks and WeCare support. No prior optics experience required as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service mindset and a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers into store and deliver great service.
• Book in eye tests and pre-screening where required.
• Provide style advice and assist with product selection.
• Assist with measuring frames and handling phone calls.
