Job summary

Specsavers Thirsk is seeking an Optical Assistant Apprentice to join our store team. You will be welcomed into a full-time apprenticeship, earn a wage and receive comprehensive training in optics and customer service.

The role involves welcoming customers, booking eye tests, pre-screening patients, offering style advice, measuring frames and answering calls. Applicants should have GCSE Maths and UK work eligibility.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent.
• EU resident for 3 years+ with right to work in the UK.

Who is this Apprenticeship for?

• Individuals with GSCE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), or an equivalent level qualification
• Individuals who have lived in the EU for 3 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
