Job summary

Specsavers Newquay is offering an Optical Assistant Apprenticeship designed for those starting a career in optics within a busy retail environment. You’ll earn a full-time wage while training across customer service, eye care, and retail skills.

We’re looking for friendly individuals who enjoy helping customers, with GCSE Maths (9-4) or equivalent and legal right to work in the UK. You’ll contribute to in-store tests, styling advice and daily duties, with full progression support.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Must have the right to work in the UK and have lived in the EU for 3+ years.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; enthusiastic about eye care.

Who is this Apprenticeship for?
