Specsavers in Chorley is offering an Optical Assistant Apprenticeship designed for proactive people who love retail and great customer service. This scheme lets you learn on the job while earning a full-time wage and building a career in optics, retail or management.

As an Apprentice, you’ll welcome customers, book eye tests, pre-screen patients and learn style advice and frame fitting. No previous optical sector experience is required, and you'll travel daily to the store.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent.
• EU residency with right to work in the UK (3+ years).
• Able to travel daily to store location.

Optical Assistant Apprenticeship

We are currently looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about providing great customer service and would like to pursue a career in retail, management or optics.

Who is this Apprenticeship for?

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant Apprentice.

• Individuals with GSCE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), or an equivalent level qualification
• Individuals who have lived in the EU for 3 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
