Job summary

Specsavers offers an Optical Assistant Apprenticeship for proactive individuals who enjoy retail and delivering excellent customer service. The program provides training within a forward-thinking business, while earning a full-time wage.

As an Apprentice, you will welcome customers, book eye tests, pre-screen patients, offer style advice, measure frames and take calls, working 40 hours per week at £8.50 per hour. Travel to the store daily is expected.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C) or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the UK; EU residence for 3+ years with right to work.
• No prior experience in the Optical Sector required.

Who is this Apprenticeship for?

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as an Optical Assistant Apprentice.

• Individuals with GSCE Maths at Grade 9-4 (A*-C), or an equivalent level qualification
• Individuals who have lived in the EU for 3 years or more, with the right to work in the UK
