A local arts organization in Wolverhampton is seeking an artist to deliver workshops with young people. The role includes facilitating up to 4 workshops, creating a multi-disciplinary art piece, and collaborating with local youth and a digital developer. Applicants should have experience with youth engagement and arts initiatives. The fee is £1,000 inclusive of travel and expenses, with a materials budget available.
Wolverhampton City of Youth Culture is a 3‑year project of festivals, events, careers development and arts trails delivered by a partnership of cultural organisations. Co‑created with young people, it aims to improve their self‑esteem, resilience, and social skills and build a lasting platform for cultural activity.
Send a CV and a short covering letter (max 2 A4 pages) outlining your practice and experience delivering co‑creation workshops with young people. Alternatively, submit a short video (up to 3 minutes).

Shortlisted artists will be invited to an informal session to meet the team and share ideas.
Open to applications from any artistic or creative practice, including photography/digital arts, animation/illustration, ceramics, music, visual arts (2D drawings & paintings), poetry and creative writing.
Fee: £1,000 (inclusive of travel and expenses).
Separate materials budget available to support creative and cultural activity of up to £500 per location/youth group.
Workshop locations to be confirmed; they will be local to Wolverhampton.
