Job summary

A local government agency in Tees Valley is looking for a dedicated Caseworker to join their Opiate Team on a fixed term basis until late May 2026, potentially extending to August 2026. Qualifications

  • Experience working with vulnerable populations ideally those with issues related to substance use, domestic abuse, or homelessness.
  • Commitment to a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings and assessments to identify client needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored recovery plans.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies.
