Bristol NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Band 5 Theatre Practitioner to join the Eye Theatres team at Bristol Eye Hospital. You will care for patients undergoing a wide range of ophthalmic procedures in a highly specialised environment, with support to develop perioperative skills across scrub, anaesthetics, and recovery.

The role requires working in a multidisciplinary team, with weekend and on-call commitments, and on-call antisocial pay for out of hours shifts.

Competenze

• Registered Nurse Level 8 or C or C+G 752 / NVQ level 3 Operating department practitioner / Dip HE in Operating Room Practice (A)
• Training qualification or equivalent experience (A)
• Experience of working in the perioperative environment
• Anaesthetic Qualification

Mansioni

• Provide perioperative care in ophthalmic theatre as Band 5 Practitioner.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, nurses and allied health professionals.
• Deliver safe, effective and patient-centred care while developing specialist ophthalmic theatre skills.
